Dustin Farrell – Landscapes
Incredible time lapse compilations by Dustin Farrell from CreW Nest Inc..
Landscapes: Volume 2 is the second of a three part series (probably). Every frame of this video is a raw still from a Canon 5D2 DSLR and processed with Adobe software. In Volume 2 I again show off my beautiful home state of Arizona and I also made several trips to Utah. This video has some iconic landmarks that we have seen before. I felt that showing them again with motion controlled HDR and/or night timelapse would be a new way to see old landmarks.

Outliers, Vol. I: Iceland
This October, with the help of the Kickstarter community, a small group of filmmakers, photographers and musicians are setting out on a journey to explore the remote countryside of Iceland and document our experiences with the landscape, residents and traditions we encounter. The end result, a beautifully packaged box set of the film and companion soundtrack, will be released to backers of the project as a physical artifact of the unique and awe-inspiring experience. We can’t wait to share the results with you.
The project
Amsterdam Osdorp
Another great piece of 3D motion graphics comes from dutch designer and director Martijn Hogenkamp who also directed the animation for the dutch pavillon at the Shanghai World Expo. You are going to love it if you are into that kind of user interface information graphic elements and typography.
The city district Amsterdam Osdorp recently merged with Slotervaart and Geuzenveld-Slotermeer and was given the name Amsterdam Nieuw-West. This change also meant the end of 20 years of restructuring urbanized areas. To celebrate everything achieved, a book was published.
The Longest Way Vol. 1

This video also circulated under the title “beard grow time lapse,” but it is the journey from student Christopher Rehage not really fair. He is one of those who have themselves documented on a lonely walk through a foreign country. His goal was to hike from far away China back to his hometown Munich in Germany. Besides the impressive photographs that he shot during the trip and the time-lapse video, Christopher wrote a rather emotional Travel Blog The Longest Way.
